SLAP it!
Create Flashcards with vocab (one side English, one side Spanish)
Students in groups of 2-4 gather around a table with flashcards (English side face DOWN) Spanish side UP!
Teacher reads out the word in English and students slap the flashcards. The student with the most cards at the end win.
Warning: your class will get noisy and be very engaged!

This resource has been a hidden treasure! Teachers can see the relation between grade 10 and 11 curriculum! MY classes have loved going through the videos, participating (verbally, written and listening). They are super engaged when they see we are going to watch the next episode! lo mas tv – is an excellent resource for checking comprehension with students, the videos are fun, short and interesting. The listening exercise is helpful too.
